The STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans lost against the Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. STEM School Highlands Ranch's loss came despite strong showings from Tyler Munro and Avi Thakkar. Munro dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds, while Thakkar scored 14 points.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy found their leader in underclassman Calum Michelsen, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Kuetemeyer, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
STEM School Highlands Ranch has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Addenbrooke Classical Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.
STEM School Highlands Ranch will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Ocelotls at 6:00 p.m. Allowing an average of 55.8 points per game, Rocky Mountain Prep SMART has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this match. Addenbrooke Classical Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Raptors at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
