The Upton Bobcats put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Meeteetse with a sharp 65-44 victory. Given Upton's advantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while Meeteetse is ranked 34th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Upton's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Meeteetse, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Moorcroft at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024. Moorcroft comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Meeteetse and Shoshoni will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
