St. Bernard's extended the longest winning streak in Humboldt-Del Norte - Little 4 this week by beating Hoopa Valley, 42-8. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
St. Bernard's moved up to 531 from 575 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Jason White's team climbed the ranks as a result of a 42-8 win over the Warriors.
South Fork's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cubs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Joey Wittlake has thrown for 1051 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Troy Langley has 36 catches for 476 yards. Wittlake also leads the league in rushing with 289 yards.
The top two teams in Humboldt-Del Norte - Little 4 will face off this week when first place St. Bernard's takes on second place Ferndale. Last week, the Crusaders bested Hoopa Valley, while Ferndale topped South Fork.
