The Mountain View Lobos are taking a road trip to challenge the Dacula Falcons at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Mountain View's tournament run continued when they took on Anthony on Saturday. The Lobos walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Albert Madrid made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Mountain View let Esteban Garcia and Nayden Cervantes run wild. Garcia got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Cervantes went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. Cervantes has become a key player for Mountain View: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-8-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Dacula hadn't done well against Mill Creek recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Hawks 4-3. The game was the first time the Falcons have beaten the Hawks on their field since March 27, 2023.
Alex Renwick looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alejandro Padilla, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Darlin Martinez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Mountain View's record is now 6-8-1. As for Dacula, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-8.
