King's Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Everett Hollis, who scored 23 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 blocks. Hollis scored a full 48.9% of King's Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Nick Atkinson was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 11 rebounds and 5 assists.
Cross Roads' win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for King's Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
