Reese is 10-0 against Vassar since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Reese Rockets will be playing at home against the Vassar Vulcans at 7:30 p.m. Reese is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
Reese suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Cass City 53-25.
Meanwhile, Vassar scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 44-23 margin over Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy. The score was close at the half, but Vassar pulled away in the second half with 30 points.
Among those leading the charge was Jordon Cain, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 17 rebounds. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Makenna McCloud was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Reese has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Vassar, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.
