Given New Foundations' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while Jenkintown is ranked 81st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Jenkintown still got an impressive performance from Tommy Walsh, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds.
New Foundations' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Jenkintown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
New Foundations won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Jenkintown, they will head out on the road to face off against Springfield Township at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
