Biggs gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Weed Cougars 52-0. The Wolverines pushed the score to 44-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had no chance of recovering from.
Skyler Long was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 125 yards and four scores on only 14 carries, and also threw for 72 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (141.7).
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Biggs was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 368 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 210 rushing yards in six consecutive contests dating back to last season.
