In what's become a running theme this season, the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 71-34 victory over BELIEVE Circle City at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-15.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indiana School for the Deaf to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Puent, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 19 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Puent has scored at least a third of Indiana School for the Deaf's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden DeFalco, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Indiana School for the Deaf's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 11-3. As for BELIEVE Circle City, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Indiana School for the Deaf will head out on the road to face off against Tri at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for BELIEVE Circle City, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against KIPP Legacy at 6:30 p.m.
