The Hanna Golden Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 12th straight defeat. They took a hard 48-29 fall against Rivera. Hanna has not had much luck with Rivera recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Rivera's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caitlin Cardenas led the charge by scoring 17 points. Another player making a difference was Daniela Fernandez, who scored 11 points.
Hanna has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 14 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-24 record this season. As for Rivera, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-21.
Hanna does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rivera also has no future games currently scheduled.
