Baseball Recap: Beaver Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Beaver barely beat Enterprise the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Beavers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Wolves a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The Beavers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Ki Anzalone was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Davis Carter was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Beaver always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Enterprise only posted an OBP of .263.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Beaver, bringing their record up to 15-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Enterprise, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaver will welcome Parowan at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.89 runs per game on average), something the Beavers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Enterprise, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Milford at 3:30 p.m. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
