SHARPSBURG, Ga. -
Camden County (Kingsland, Ga.) grabbed a lead in the first quarter and rode that momentum to a 34-14 win over
East Coweta (Sharpsburg, Ga.).
The Wildcats put up seven points in the opening frame. Camden County scored on a
J.j. Green touchdown run.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Green in the first quarter, CC led 14-7 at the half.
The Kingsland school expanded its lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. The Wildcats scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Green.
Adrian Ballard played well for Camden County in the victory. The freshman ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown.
CC went into the matchup giving up only 7.5 points per game.
The loss comes after East Coweta defeated Newton 25-20 last week.
