On Wednesday, La Grange came up short against Edna and fell 56-45. La Grange has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Leopards players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Victoria Harold, who scored six points along with 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Cara Homer, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
La Grange's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Edna, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.
La Grange is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Columbus at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Edna, they will square off against Industrial at 6:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Industrial will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 980th, while Edna is ranked 364th).
