Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Vidalia couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Toombs County Bulldogs by a score of 46-43 on Wednesday. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Toombs County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amari Eason led the charge by going 5-for-8 to rack up 16 points and five boards. Those 16 points gave Eason a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Stanley, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Vidalia's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Toombs County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Vidalia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Toombs County, they will square off against Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Southwest comes in on 12 and Toombs County on seven.
