The Manila Mustangs put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Little Snake River 54-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Manila also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2021.
Manila got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Wyatt Muir out in front who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Muir has scored at least 25% of Manila's points. Another player making a difference was Ben Lail, who scored 11 points.
Manila's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Little Snake River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Manila will head out on the road to face off against Lovell at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Little Snake River, they will square off against Big Piney at TBD on Saturday.
