New Life Camp hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost three straight) but thanks in part to Caroline Brown that streak is no more. The New Life Camp Storm came out on top against Tournament Opponent by a score of 50-42 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Brown, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8 boards per game.
The team also got some help courtesy of Gisele Le Chatelier, who posted six points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.
The win got New Life Camp back to even at 11-11.
New Life Camp wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-41 victory against Surry HomeSchool on the 5th. As for Tournament Opponent, they will square off against Blair County Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tournament Opponent is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
