The Brawley Wildcats won the last time they faced the Holtville Vikings, and things went their way on Monday too. Brawley came out on top against Holtville by a score of 55-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brawley.
Domanic Vallejo was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 4 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ricardo DeLaPaz, who scored six points along with five assists and two steals.
Brawley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Holtville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
Brawley will head out on the road to take on Calipatria at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calipatria will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Holtville, they will be playing at home against Southwest EC at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southwest EC has now lost 17 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 18.
