Antlers has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Haworth Lions at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Antlers will be strutting in after a win while the Lions will be coming in after a defeat.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Antlers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 victory over Tushka. The victory was just what Antlers needed coming off of a 73-38 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Haworth unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 79-56 defeat at the hands of Valliant. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Haworth in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.
Antlers' victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Haworth, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
Antlers might still be hurting after the 57-34 defeat they got from the Lions in their previous matchup back in January. Can Antlers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
