It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Harmony School of Innovation Wildcats had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They didn't even let the Mustangs onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. The victory was just what the Wildcats needed coming off of a 76-0 defeat in their prior matchup.
The Wildcats' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Hector Perez and his two sacks.
The Wildcats' win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for the Mustangs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Harmony School of Innovation will take on Compass Rose Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on November 17th. Compass Rose Legacy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. The Mustangs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
