Carson lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They were the victim of a tough 80-55 defeat at the hands of San Pedro. Carson has not had much luck with San Pedro recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Carson's defeat came about despite a quality game from Jacob Ortega, who scored 32 points. Ortega hasn't dropped below 17 points for seven straight games. Curtis Sproull Jr. was another key contributor, scoring six points.
West Adams' win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Carson, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.
