The Dwyer Panthers had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Blanche Ely by a score of 58-45 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for Dwyer as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Amari Nealy continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Robert Jones, who scored three points along with nine blocks and six rebounds.
Dwyer's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Blanche Ely, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
Dwyer is on the road again on Thursday and plays Southridge at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. Hopefully Dwyer is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Florida (they are ranked 27th, while Southridge is ranked 112th). Blanche Ely will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against South Plantation at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th.
