Life Academy probably has a sour taste in its mouth after its recent playoff game against Russell Christian Academy didn't go its way. Life Academy came up short against Russell Christian Academy, falling 32 - 22. Life Academy was up eight at the end of the half but couldn't hold onto the lead.
Life Academy got off to a good start with a 22-point offensive effort in the first half. That gave them a 22 - 14 advantage at the half. With a less-than-desirable zero points in the second half, however, Life Academy saw this advantage slip away.
Russell Christian Academy can chalk up much of its success to the efforts of senior Drew Taylor, who threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns.
The win got Russell Christian Academy up to 12-1. Life Academy remains undefeated at home and rose to 10-1.
