The biggest upset of the week belonged to Shelby Valley, who took down 176th ranked Shelby Valley, 40-14.
Prestonsburg's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jarredd Jarrell threw for 111 and two touchdowns and Bryson Williams had 48 yards receiving. On the ground Grant Anderson chipped in 105 yards. Anderson helped Prestonsburg's passing attack out by catching five balls for 46 yards.
Prestonsburg's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Black Cats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jarrell has thrown for 2612 yards and 27 touchdowns this season, while Anderson has 56 catches for 1005 yards. Jarrell also leads the league in rushing with 609 yards.
Betsy Layne made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,079 from 12,704. The improvement came about via a 40-14 victory over the Wildcats last week.
