South Dearborn found their leader in sophomore Scout Gray, who went 7-for-13 en route to 19 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. Gray continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Caden Thompson also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
Rushville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for South Dearborn, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.
Rushville has already played their next matchup, a 53-36 loss against East Central on the 1st. As for South Dearborn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 75-52 defeat against Southwestern on the 1st.
