The Bryn Mawr Mawrtians lost against the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings back in February of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bryn Mawr was the victim of a tough 65-45 loss at the hands of St. John's Catholic Prep. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bryn Mawr in their matchups with St. John's Catholic Prep: they've now lost five in a row.
St. John's Catholic Prep was led to victory by Nadia Ferguson and Cayenne Pigeon. Ferguson scored 21 points, while Pigeon scored 22 points. The game was Pigeon's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isabella Wilson, who scored nine points.
Bryn Mawr's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Notre Dame Prep the next time they take the court. St. John's Catholic Prep will host Notre Dame Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while Bryn Mawr will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
