The New Richmond Lions were the 48-31 winner over the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. New Richmond took a 49-32 bruising from Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy on Wednesday.
Despite the loss, New Richmond still got an impressive performance from Kiera Kirk, who scored 17 points along with 5 blocks. Another player making a difference was Sydney Miller, who scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds.
New Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
New Richmond will head out on the road to face off against Goshen at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Cincinnati Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
