Basketball Recap: Liberty Ranch Extends Winning Streak to Four

Liberty Ranch extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Elliott Hawker. The Liberty Ranch Hawks managed a 65-61 win over the Union Mine Diamondbacks on Tuesday thanks in part to Hawker, who posted 26 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Several Diamondbacks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian McPartland, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Manfredi, who went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Liberty Ranch has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Union Mine, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-13.

Liberty Ranch has already played their next matchup, a 68-42 victory against Amador on the 29th. As for Union Mine, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 85-79 win against Argonaut on the 29th.
