The Lewisville Lions stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Great Falls on the road to the tune of 49-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Lewisville has posted since December 4, 2023.
Lewisville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiyana Murrell, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Murrell is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Trinity Baker, who scored 20 points along with eight assists.
Lewisville's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Great Falls, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing C.A. Johnson the next time they take the court. Great Falls will head out to face C.A. Johnson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lewisville will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
