Quinn Schambow Delivers Electric Performance Vs Zion-Benton
Libertyville picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Quinn Schambow. Zion-Benton had no answer to Schambow as he threw for 232 yards and five touchdowns on only 16 passes. Schambow is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Schambow might just drop another big game when he faces off against Lake Forest on Thursday. Schambow threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Scouts duked it out back in September of 2023.

Stewart Posts Huge Game in 16-7 Defeat
Aaron Stewart's rushing tear continued on Thursday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 113+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.
Stevenson's probably not too fond of Stewart given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Stewart saw the Patriots), he rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Mundelein was sadly handed a defeat on Thursday, but Jake Junia did his best to prevent it. Despite the loss, Junia was still balling out as he made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Mundelein is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. Junia and Mundelein are taking a road trip to square off against Waukegan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Maddux Hermestroff Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Thursday, Mundelein had to settle for second even though Maddux Hermestroff put up the best numbers he has all season. Hermestroff made nine total tackles.
For the year, Hermestroff has averaged 5.7 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 interceptions. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.43 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 22.57 rushing yards.

Libertyville Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Blaise Lavista
Blaise Lavista was instrumental in extending Libertyville's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Lavista turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 67 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
Zion-Benton's probably not too fond of Lavista given he always seems to get the better of them. Lavista picked up 167 receiving yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Zee-Bees duked it out back in October of 2023.
