Columbia have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Bear Grass Charter at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.
Things haven't been easy for Columbia, and their contest two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to five. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-32 walloping at Weldon's hands. Columbia were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-24.
Meanwhile, Bear Grass Charter came up short against Northwest Halifax last Friday, falling 36-48. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Bear Grass Charter.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. With four turnovers, Columbia had trouble holding onto the ball two weeks ago. We'll see if Bear Grass Charter exploit that vulnerability.
