Perhaps the best among them was Mekhi Anderson, who scored eight points along with 16 rebounds. Anderson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Sayid Cooley, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kwasi Hawkins, who scored 15 points along with four steals. It was the first time this season that Hawkins grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cedrick Brown, Jr., who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds.
KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
