Tri is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Knightstown get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won six contests in a row.

Meanwhile, South Decatur made easy work of Morristown on Wednesday and carried off a 13-6 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cougars have posted against the Yellow Jackets since May 6, 2021.
South Decatur let Dalilah Martin and Raegan Benge run wild. Martin got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs, while Benge went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Benge has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Piper Phelps also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Friday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Tri hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .350. However, it's not like South Decatur struggles in that department as they've averaged .367. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Tri took their win against South Decatur in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-0 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
