Modoc was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Meanwhile, Central Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Redding Christian on Tuesday and fell 3-2.
Central Valley actually scored more points across those five sets (105-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 9-25, 26-24, 15-11.
Modoc now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Central Valley, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
