Meanwhile, Central Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Redding Christian on Tuesday and fell 3-2.
Central Valley actually scored more points across those five sets (105-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 9-25, 26-24, 15-11.
Modoc now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Central Valley, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
