It was a good run, but the Robinson Rams unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 60-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodson. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Robinson in their matchups with Woodson: they've now lost eight in a row.
Robinson lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Scott Van antwerp, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. The contest was Van antwerp's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Matteen Rahim was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Noah Limbago continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Woodson, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Limbago scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Kaylen Chilton, who scored 13 points.
Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Woodson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robinson will square off against Langley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodson, they will head out on the road to face off against Hayfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
