The Escondido Cougars were the 63-58 winner over the Fallbrook Warriors when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Escondido was outmatched by Fallbrook on the road and fell 73-38. Escondido has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Fallbrook to victory were Elliott Watkins and Samuel Carmona. Watkins scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Carmona dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Evan Thomas was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three blocks and two steals.
Escondido has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season. As for Fallbrook, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season.
Escondido does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fallbrook also has no future games currently scheduled.
