You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Yorkville Christian's strategy against Lisle on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Yorkville Christian Mustangs blew the Lisle Lions out of the water with a 70-37 final score. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 27 points or more this season.

Yorkville Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danielle Bulson, who went 8 for 10 on her way to 19 points in addition to five boards and three steals. That's the most points Bulson has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Wallin, who went 7 of 14 on her way to 16 points and five assists.

Yorkville Christian's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Lisle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Yorkville Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-35 victory against Indian Creek on the 6th. As for Lisle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-23 loss against Argo on the 6th.
