The North Florida Christian Eagles were the 46-33 winner over the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. North Florida Christian fell to FAMU DRS 43-39.
FAMU DRS found their leader in underclassman Queenn Love, who scored 17 points along with eight steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Love has scored all season.
North Florida Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for FAMU DRS, their win ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Florida Christian will take on Taylor County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for FAMU DRS, they will head out on the road to square off against North Bay Haven Academy on Saturday. North Bay Haven Academy has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7.
