Soccer Recap: Imagine School at North Port Takes a Loss

After flying high against Babcock last Tuesday, Imagine School at North Port came back down to earth. The Imagine School at North Port Sharks came up short against the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder on Thursday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 567th, while the Thunder are ranked 207th).

Imagine School at North Port has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which lines up perfectly with their 1-7-1 record this season. As for Out-of-Door Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Imagine School at North Port will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Charlotte at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. After both having extra time off, Out-of-Door Academy and Cristo Rey Tampa will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
