The Escondido Charter White Tigers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Pacific Ridge 61-43 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Escondido Charter, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Escondido Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joe Scates, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds. Scates set a new season high mark in assists with five. Ashton Pincock was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
The win got Escondido Charter back to even at 6-6. As for Pacific Ridge, they bumped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Escondido Charter will square off against Escondido at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Escondido is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. Pacific Ridge will be home for the holidays to greet Mission Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
