Germantown Friends has gone a perfect 4-0 against Abington Friends recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Serafina Kubersky was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Tori Ceprrgi also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Abington Friends was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Abington Friends pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Germantown Friends, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Germantown Friends beat Abington Friends 12-7 in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Germantown Friends since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
