The Biggsville West Central Heat can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 58-37 margin over ROWVA/Williamsfield. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-21.
Shelby Bowman was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with two steals. That makes it 23 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Biggsville West Central's points. Harlee Hainds was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Biggsville West Central's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for ROWVA/Williamsfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16.
Biggsville West Central will head out on the road to take on the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hamilton will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for ROWVA/Williamsfield, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Midwest Central/Delavan is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
