Even though the Cottonwood Colts have not done well against the Olympus Titans recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Everything went Cottonwood's way against Olympus as Cottonwood made off with a  57-35 victory. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Cottonwood.
 Cottonwood got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Carley Caton out in front who  scored 16 points along with 6  rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which  Caton has scored at least 25% of Cottonwood's points. Another player making a difference was  Avea van der Beek, who  scored 18 points along with 9  rebounds.
 Olympus' loss  came despite strong showings from  Joss Baker and  Keily Trabanino.  Baker  scored 11 points along with 7  rebounds, while  Trabanino  scored 7 points along with 3  steals. The  game was  Baker's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
 Cottonwood now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Olympus, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-3.
 Cottonwood will head out on the road to face off against Mountain Ridge at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Olympus, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Mountain Crest at 7:00  p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Utah (Mountain Crest is ranked 95th, while Olympus is ranked 70th).
