They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 75-45 win over Bethel Assembly Christian Academy. With Suffolk Christian Academy ahead 41-21 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Suffolk Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from De'Sean Stevenson, who scored 29 points along with five assists and three steals. Stevenson is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Luke Ott was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Despite the loss, Bethel Assembly Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from McKinley Conner, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. Conner continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Dozier, who scored seven points.
Even though they lost, Bethel Assembly Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
The win makes it two in a row for Suffolk Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-17. As for Bethel Assembly Christian Academy, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
