Legacy Athletics' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julie Layaou, who posted six points and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Jaye Benton, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 boards.
Among those leading the charge was Avianah Greene, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Bella Adwell was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to 12 boards and three steals.
The win got Bethel Christian Academy back to even at 1-1.
