After a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, Gallup were humbled on Friday. They were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-20 to Miyamura.
The loss dropped Gallup's record to 2-5. Finally capturing their first victory of the season, Miyamura advanced to 1-6.
Next week Gallup take on Bloomfield at 7:00 PM. Gallup's defense better steel itself: Bloomfield are averaging 34.57 points per game. As for Miyamura, they will face off against Piedra Vista. Piedra Vista took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Miyamura's good fortune.
