The Cinnaminson Pirates entered their tilt with the Penns Grove Red Devils with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Cinnaminson blew past Penns Grove 65-44. Cinnaminson has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.
Penns Grove lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Giomar Conrad, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Willie Slocum, who scored nine points.
Cinnaminson pushed their record up to 13-2 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Penns Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Cinnaminson's homestand continues as they prepare to take on KIPP Cooper Norcross at 5:15 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Penns Grove, they will head out on the road to challenge Clearview at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
