2A Tri-River recap Oct. 9, 2012
Central Linn extended the longest winning streak in 2A Tri-River this week by beating Waldport, 42-8. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Regis took down Culver 64-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Waldport's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Irish feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. TJ Fisher has thrown for 769 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Kraig Pruett has 29 catches for 421 yards. Matthew Clark leads the league in rushing with 368 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Rams take on Kennedy. At the moment, Regis is in second, while the Trojans are in fourth.
Drew Carter's team led 2A Tri-River in scoring this week after putting up 64 points on the Bulldogs.
