Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Has No Trouble Against Central

St. Joseph got themselves on the board against Central on Tuesday, but Central never followed suit. They blew past the Bearcats 16-0. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

David DeVore looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, St. Joseph got a massive performance out of Isaac Weber, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Reeves, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI.

St. Joseph always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

St. Joseph now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Central, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
