McMahon is 0-4 against Ridgefield since October of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Senators will take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant wideouts against one another: Justin Daniel and Christopher Colsey.
On Friday, McMahon was just a hair shy of victory and fell 29-28 to Danbury. While the Senators didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hatters 7-3 in the first quarter.
Even if they lost, McMahon's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Gavin Peterson, Jacob Lederman, and Farrell Lee, who each picked up one sack apiece. Lederman got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Ridgefield got themselves on the board against Bridgeport Central on Friday, but Bridgeport Central never followed suit. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 52-0 victory over the Hilltoppers. The game marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season.
Ridgefield's win came from a few key players McMahon will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Connor Chojnacki, who threw for 49 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards (27). Another player making a difference was Leo Moore, who rushed for 30 yards and two touchdowns.

Ridgefield has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.8 points on average over those games. As for McMahon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
McMahon took a serious blow against Ridgefield when the teams last played back in October of 2020, falling 41-8. Can the Senators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
