After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pine Bluffs, South was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They secured a 54-48 W over the Southeast Cyclones. The Bison's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

South's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Coming up, South will be taking part in a tournament against Prospect Ridge Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bison's defense better be ready for this one: the Miners have averaged an impressive 69 points per game this season. As for Southeast, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-43 loss against Burns on the 13th.
